BioMy name is Michael L. Edwards, I am 28 year old freelance writer and aspiring novelist. My interests lie in writing and reading. Foolishly enough, I plan on pursuing a career in comics, so if you want to see my thoughts, opinions, and what not; visit my livejournal. Other than that welcome to the Writer's Corner.
INFLUENCES:
My major writing influences include the comic works of Brian Michael Bendis, John Lindley Byrne, Frank Miller, Joe Michael Straczynski, Chris Claremont, Ed Brubaker, and Stan Lee.
I am also influenced by such film alumni as: Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, Martin Scoresese, and James Cameron.

Otherwise, it will only serve to distract the audience.

The best thing about writing fiction is that moment where the story catches fire and comes to life on the page, and suddenly it all makes sense and you know what it’s about and why you’re doing it and what these people are saying and doing, and you get to feel like both the creator and the audience. Everything is suddenly both obvious and surprising (’but of course that’s why he was doing that, and that means that…’) and it’s magic and wonderful and strange.
